Digital piracy and theft are two VERY different crimes. Theft deprives someone of property. Piracy *might* deprive someone of a payment (only if the pirate would otherwise have paid to watch the video in question).

The nose was CG, not prosthetic.
Did you even read the series? Denying goblins access to wandlore, stealing goblin-made artifacts (goblins consider all goblin-made objects to belong to the goblin race, while humans continue to pass them down as heirlooms), the creepy statue at the Ministry of Magic with a goblin (and other non-human creatures)…
So you admit you can’t think of a single domain in life where the goalposts never move? Excellent. Thank you for agreeing and apologizing for spreading covid disinformation, you fucking utter tool.
Goalposts in the NFL changed just in the past decade:
Name a domain in life where the goalposts never move. Good luck.
That’s like saying “I only know about pools from America’s Funniest Home Videos - aren’t they just weird backyard ponds for driving cars into? I have no reason to ever use a pool!”
Thank you! High praise from someone who’s been using the word since the 13th century!
If they’re going to pedantically and idiotically nitpick a throwaway sentence on a blog post (as if someone cataloged the entire Internet this week and determined this was objectively the cringiest moment? Get real.), then their pedantic bullshit must ALSO stand up to the same stupid scrutiny. Or GTFO.
The story this week was not about what Maxwell did, but that she was convicted. There’s absolutely nothing cringey or to make one cringe about her conviction, unless one is also a sex trafficker. That’s the case when using any definitions of the word, new or old.
There’s a difference between not understanding the idea that opinions differ and not understanding what specifically people hate about this movie. But you knew that, so why try to pick a fight about it?
I rewatched 2 and 3 (probably the third or fourth time I’ve seen both) right before I watched 4, and it really clarified for me how much better 4 is.
All I can say is: rewatch 2 and 3. MAYBE the freeway sequence in 2 is better than comparable scenes in 4, but nostalgia is a hell of a drug, my friend.
Dude, all of this is literally why they gave us the “Dismiss” button. Use it, end the back-and-forth, and move on. Nothing more satisfying than deleting the comments of someone trying to get the last word on you.
One of the best movies I’ve seen in a long time, but I never found 2 and 3 particularly watchable.
You must’ve forgotten that review aggregation sites exist - critics are certainly divided on this film, but they are not “generally” panning it - about half of them totally loved it and half hated it.
Whaaaat? I think you must’ve accidentally rewatched Reloaded instead of Resurrections. I rewatched the original trilogy immediately before watching Rez, and the second movie doesn’t have a single moment of authentic character development. Everyone is wooden and terrible in it, and the third movie is barely better in…
I love it, and I really have never read it as “corny.” It’s a delight through-and-through.
What’s wrong with Marshall? Jason Segel is undeniably a bit of a scumbag, but I never thought his character was awful, especially compared with everyone else on the show.
I agree 110 is way too much. 5-10 years doesn’t seem out of the question based on what he did, though. Probation only doesn’t seem appropriate.
