Get over it.
Get over it.
Why in the world do you care at all? No one is making you watch it. If Ninja started streaming in trunks, some people would like it and some wouldn’t, like literally every other thing he does - again, why do you care? Your idea of what Twitch is “for” is utterly imaginary, and exists only in your brain. Instead of…
To all the utter morons who I dismissed for suggesting that being in a hottub doesn’t count because you can’t actually “swim” in it, I direct you to Twitch’s official statement on the issue:
Christ almighty, you’re dumb. Occam’s Razor, child. Look it up.
If Doug Jones isn’t in it, I shall be heartbroken. I’ll probably still watch it... but reluctantly.
The Last Jedi is the third best Star War, so it’s certainly possible!
Bullshit you don’t have a problem with it. Re-read your original post, coward.
Be better.
How is hottubbing not included in “Swim and beaches”? Shove your concern trolling straight up your ass. Thanks.
You’re going to need to propose a mechanism by which mingling vaccinated and unvaccinated people assists the rise of a vaccine resistant strain. The virus can only mutate in situations where it can replicate at will - intense replication rolls the dice more times for mutation due to mistranslation to occur. In…
You said “there is a chance of vaccine resistant strains developing in vaccinated people” and compared that theory to the flu. But that’s not AT ALL how the flu has changed over the years - we’ve NEVER had a flu vaccine that’s anywhere close to as effective as the Covid vaccine is.
The flu vaccine is a totally different story, due to how different the various circulating strains are and how hard it is to target all of them with one vaccine. Covid has yet to evolve a variant without the spike proteins - until it does, the current vaccine will be WAY more effective than the current flu vaccine.
There is next to no evidence of outdoor transmissibility. CDC guidelines are wholly correct that there is no reason to continue masking *outdoors* if you’re fully vaccinated - the extreme unlikelihood of transmitting the virus outside combined with the quite low likelihood of acquiring Covid at all once you’re…
That’s... kinda psycho. I’ve been insanely strict this whole time - my family lives locally, and I didn’t even see them in person for Thanksgiving or Christmas. What was the point of that if I’m not going to enjoy some eased restrictions now that I’m fully vaxxed? I mean, I’ll keep wearing my mask in stores and…
Should I make a cringey joke about the television program The Flight Attendant, or absolutely not mention it to them?
“I guess it’s closer to taking a LOTR book, scanning all the pages, zipping them, and putting the ZIP file on the Internet. Nothing in the ZIP file itself is the actual book, but you can reconstitute the actual book.”
How is the company harmed in this case? The game is 20 years old - if it makes any money at all at this point, it’s an infinitesimal amount.
Reverse engineering is not “theft.” Theft involves depriving a party of their goods or money. This game is twenty years old - please demonstrate the financial harms of releasing its code at this point.
The issues are pretty complex, so I don’t think armchair observers can say one way or another that there’s anything obvious about this case. It’s likely to take a lot of arcane litigation to work out, barring some sort of settlement to preempt it.
Without him clarifying what he meant, why are you so certain that’s what he’s saying? Long before rightwing assholes coined the term “cancel culture,” TONS of shows were afraid of taking chances because they’d get canceled by the networks. The sentiment predates “cancel culture” by decades.
