Anyone who worked for the Trump administration at his level aided and abetted crimes against humanity and a massive fraud on the American public, so yes - they ought to be in prison. Lacking that, they should absolutely be hounded out of whatever jobs public opinion has an effect on. What’s it to me if he never works

Wait... your penis doesn’t look like this?

So you think no one judges anyone as long as what they do is lawful? I’d like an ounce of whatever you’re smoking, please!

No, the position stated is “don’t take an unvaccinated person out to dinner with you even if you’re vaccinated, because you don’t know the staff’s status.

Yeah, I’m a fan. What’s the point of gaming if you’re not a fan and have no emotional attachment to it? Sorry if you don’t like the word “soured” but you said I jumped in as an early adopter and my desire to both upgrade or engage with what I already have is lower, not higher, than it was at the time.”

I’m not making an assertion of “truth,” just pointing out that the opposite viewpoint to yours is just as defensible. Lacking detailed data, neither of us can proven “right” here, and I’m not trying to convince you I’m right. I’m simply pointing out that your expressed certainties are far from certain.

Non-VR is an utterly saturated market, to the point that it’s nearly impossible for an indie to get noticed (on average). That makes the VR market look incredibly appealing to me - every single game that isn’t straight up trash gets a LOT more eyeballs in the Oculus Quest store. If I were an indie developer, I’d

I don’t see a single scrap of data to support your assertion that developers are not recouping their costs in the VR software market. The market continues to grow at a steady pace, which means *more* developers will join. Unless you have data to suggest that development is more costly than sales, this is once again

Where is your data coming from? I’m not aware of Facebook ever releasing sales data on Oculus, let alone granular data on month-by-month sales to compare the first few months of Quest 2 sales to the first few months of Quest 1 sales.

Whaaat are you even talking about? These are a thousand times better than the original Move controllers.

The flaw in your reasoning is to generalize from your own experience. Just because YOU’RE less excited about it, that doesn’t make it true for everyone or even a large segment of the player base.

Similarly, just because I LOVE my Oculus, I don’t assume anyone else will either. Our personal opinions are not a data set.

I like it a lot! For me, it doesn’t hold up to rewatches quite as well as Brick does. But it’s a much more impressive production, for sure.

While I’m delighted that Rian Johnson is in such high demand, I can’t help but be a little saddened that his résumé is so long that he’s no longer identified as the “promising director of Brick.”

“Harassing” oneself isn’t a euphemism, so there is no low-hanging fruit here. The phrase is “abusing” oneself.

Mining is required to verify every single transaction - it’s not a separate action on the blockchain. Read this for more info:

A friend of mine worked at our main local crystal purveyor. He was asked to spruce up the crystal display, and in the process he threw out the descriptions and made up (even more) ludicrous new ones out of thin air.

In five years, not a single patron complained or even noticed.

WHOOSH!

Have the personal integrity to speak up and admit fault when people provide clear evidence that you’re wrong.

Ugh. Have a better take.

Ummm... I’m not out here stanning for households making $160,000 a year during a global pandemic. They’ll be fucking fine.
