You’re misunderstanding the use case for this feature. It’s not for IDing a song that’s playing - it’s for when you’re in Spotify trying to remember the name of a song you want to hear, and all you can come up with is a line from the lyrics. You speak/type that in and it surfaces the song to hit play on.

They already added the feature. You’re saying you’ll ignore it and use Shazam instead? That’s fucking stupid as hell.

If I’m already in the Spotify app, how does launching a separate app improve my experience?

Yes: why use the built-in function of your music app when you could launch a separate app to do the same thing with worse results. You really nailed this one.

Correction: Multiple times in this article you refer to “GameSpot” when you meant “GameStop.”

So what are you advocating for? They should’ve just left big blank spaces where Spencer’s dialogue should have been? I have to say as an actor that your take is truly dumb.

“over-the-air” update -- ;) ;)

The Rainbow Brite Sprite one is AWESOME!

You’ve wandered far afield from my original question. You claimed: “something that can record audio requires a separate input for audio to discourage the practice”
Do you have an answer as to where you’re getting that interpretation from? That’s very specific to hardware that can record audio - that has nothing to do

It surely is. But it’s not hard to buy real bread.

Both this product and the software I referred to have myriad legitimate usages, however.

I agree that the user would be in violation of the law, but I don’t think the manufacturer would be. I have perfectly legal software on my computer that is capable of recording streaming content. AFAIK, the liability for doing so is on me and not the makers of the software.

Just... buy or make real bread. Most breads from a real bakery will not be packed with sugar. I honestly can’t believe adults in this country still eat shitty pre-sliced bread... that should be for picky children only!

Can you cite a specific law that addresses your claim? I’ve never heard of this requirement.

This holiday is supposed to be about celebrating billionaire zombie overlord Jeff Bezos. How can we let our own petty human concerns get in the way of that?!

No one has ever been able to explain to me why I should care how I look in a VR headset. 95% of the time I’m using VR, I’m using it by myself. And in those few instances where I’m playing a party game with only one person is in VR (like Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes) the goofiness of the situation is

Not all states require you to register party affiliation. In Michigan (my home state), it’s not a thing. In primaries, you just get to pick only one party to vote for.

It didn’t cum on me in 2018, so I appreciate their coverage.

digital downloads rarely go down in price”

No PC needed for any games in the Oculus Quest app store.
