Shhh don’t tell them that!

Or you know, just use orange turn signals like the rest of the world. That would fix the problem immediately.

I’m not sure why you “NEED” AWD? We survived happily for decades without AWD. I would argue that despite both our cars being AWD neither of them need to be, especially my wifes crossover, it just burns fuel unnecessarily. I grew up on gravel roads and noone in my family (farmers) had 4wd until my dad bought a 4Runner

I don’t even know where to begin. You got 2/3s of the way across the country and thought. Oh better change my oil...on a bloody sunday???? Your car would have been fine to go to LA and back, then back again. FFS. Rotating your tires? Again, really? you needed to do that then? I mean maybe if you are driving some sort

A PT Cruiser. Just need to know how bad it really is. I don’t know anyone who has one. I’m not going to buy one to find out. They didn’t sell very well in my country... probably because they are crap. When the guy who runs the HubNut YouTube channel says its crap, it must be truly terrible, this is a man who loves a

Yeah, I daily drove a manual car, in a congested city as a salesperson, so I was in my car all day. I never ever had a problem with eating, drinking a coffee etc. Do people think you change gears constantly or something? Also you can shift a gear with a coffee in your hand...

I’m assuming the Mini was genuinely abandoned, given that it has its keys.

This was a huge problem at Brisbane Airport when I lived there. Except it wasn’t wealthy students. It was backpackers leaving their worthless shitbox Hyundai Excels and Toyota Hiaces abandoned at the airport as they couldn’t sell them. The same thing used to happen at Auckland & Christchurch airports in New Zealand

I’m on the “I’d really like a new car” but my current car is fine for now bandwagon. In fact, I just bought my car before its lease was up and I’ll just keep it for a bit longer. I honestly think the only way to end this crap is for people to just stop buying cars. keep the one they have for a bit longer (I realise

I think you could be right. But USA car dealers are a very extra special breed. They have enjoyed a sweet ride on outdated legislation (ie not allowing direct sales) that they may be viewing direct imports - which seem to be exploding because of the internet as a threat that they cannot compete with.

I’ve never even given a moments thought to ashtrays in new cars. I can’t even remember the last car I had that had one. Maybe my ‘02 Ford Mondeo? I do remember that smoking accessories used to be the pinnacle of luxury. My friends dad had a super fancy 1988 Ford Fairmont Ghia sedan that had cigarette lighters and

What a monumentally stupid idea! “Oh no a car’s coming - better check my phone!” WHAM! dead.

I kinda get it. You know - wanting to make the ultimate off road, camper, truck all in one... but this almost fails at everything. Its too big to be an overlander truck, its too wide and too long to go off road. Its interior space is too small, you have acres of space to play with and what you end up with is something

Airbus A380. You could basically build a flying palace.

Thats the ultimate multi-billionaire dooms-dayer starter kit right there. Perhaps a disused oil rig (refitted of course) to use as a home base?

One of our school buses was a Mazda Bongo van. It had like 15 seats crammed into what really was a delivery van. It had two seats located in the boot area facing inward that you accessed via the boot door. Ahhh rural New Zealand in the ‘90s - how quaint.

There is only one answer here:

Yeah - probably should’ve highlighted this too. My AppleTV from 2012 no longer supports YouTube. I can’t put the Disney app on it. It sits in our second living room basically for the kids to watch TV, on a perfectly functional older flat screen that isn’t a Smart TV. Sure I could upgrade to a new Apple TV or get a new

Thanks for this. It is a huge concern and one that should be taken seriously. But it goes further than just waste. Any device that is internet connected has the possibility of being controlled. Whats to stop a city mandating an OTA that reduces speeds of all cars within the city limit to 25km/h. What happens when

But have you used iDrive? And I mean modern iDrive, not 2003 7 series iDrive. It is really that good. I had an X5 for the weekend and didn’t even realise I could touch the screen, why would you. iDrive is intuitive, it works, you don’t have to look down, it takes little concentration to figure out.
