I find the only way to repel a turtle is to throw a banana at it!

Those seats are amazing. Especially the thigh support. We did a 1600km journey in my old 135i and got out feeling fine. As a comparison we did the same journey in our old Toyota Highlander and you’d think that the Highlander being soft a squishy would have been a far more comfortable ride but there wasn’t much in it -

I maintain that my 1998 Volvo S80 is the comfiest car I’ve ever owned. It’s also the worst car, but definitely the comfiest

Ummm completely omitted in all of this discussion is the fact that this car has an umbrella style parking brake! That’s way more important! Let’s bring these back!!!

Bail? I think we may be looking at a “One flew over the Cuckoo’s nest” situation...

I think he walked away when they said “no we aren’t going to make the rocker panels out of rust”

My wife says that we can never break up as she wouldn’t know how to arrange electricity or broadband - pretty sure that the reason we are still together heh

Look - its not a Range Rover 3-door classic. Its never going to be THAT much of a collectors item. Sure it will go up in value. But not to Range Rover money. I reckon get the new engine, enjoy the truck. But keep the original engine, because that might matter to someone. But with a new engine you will have a pretty

Excellent I’ve stolen the broken down Jeep :D

I’ve not been able to log in to comment on mobile using Safari for a year, only on Chrome. And now mobile chrome just gives me 3 dots... Jalopniks not in a good way. I feel bad for the staff and writers.

This person is asking for a Subaru CrossTrek or Outback.

Excellent. This pleases me muchly. I don’t care if this doesn’t have a manual. Can the next CX-9 be based on this too? It’ll be like a cheap BMW X5...

I think Toyota secretly like that their trucks end up doing this sort of thing. What better ad is there for a LandCruiser? “The only truck tough enough for terrorists” “a truck so tough that militias wont bother tanks” you get the gist

There are a couple of problems with latch/isofix. 1 if the kid is over 20kgs you can’t use it. 2 I can’t get three car seats (when we have my niece) or two car seats and a person across the back seat of our Outback when using the isofix for my daughters rear facing seat, it doesn’t sit far enough outward to make the

Once your child is over 20kg (not sure what that is in murican) you can’t use LATCH/Isofix . Our Britax seat for our almost 5 year can’t be connect via isofix as he is too heavy. The other seat a MaxiCosi booster seat doesn’t have isofix as it’s designed for kids 15kgs and up. So no it’s not Britax selling Karen a

So I’m an ‘87 Korean Van, with a V3 engine with a front/mid front wheel drive that’s fun to drive with dangerous handling. It’s called the Bear

Kristen nailed this one!

Haha! I nearly traded our 2015 Polo for a 2014 CC V6 as we need a bigger car. It was at such a good price, but my wife had tonsillitis and couldn’t look at it and it sold so fast once they dropped the price. something tells me I dodged a bullet...

I’ve had a lot of emails from dealers who seem to have my email address - you’d think I look at cars a lot.... and most have said they will bring the car to you for a test drive.

Why not fix and keep and have a modern safe nice car? Then you could sell/burn half the XJs sitting in your driveway. Keep the J10, golden eagle and red XJ. Also selling the 300 XJs you have lying around would probably net you almost as much cash as you’d make off this thing and you would have a really nice car at the
