Nice amount of compassion there. Clearly you don’t have kids. Our useless travel agent put my wife and I on separate bookings, meaning that we weren’t sitting together (travel agent also screwed up the kids booking so they didn’t get kids meals or any of the stuff the airline normally offered for them, but the nice FA

My aunty and uncle bought a new one in 1988 and I spent a lot of my childhood riding round the country in the back of it. They kept it right up until it was no longer roadworthy. Despite having a BMW 735iL my uncle would still drive the 5-speed column shift Mitsubishi L300 Sportpac. Great memories. As an aside I hired

I think MB is running away from Nissan as fast as it can... I know I would be

The torque is from pretty much idle. As with any diesel, the numbers don’t matter, its where it makes the power. Its pretty much useless on a truck to make 650nm (I don’t know how your american torque system works) at 4500rpm as the truck never spends any time at those revs. A 70 series has a detuned (minus a turbo)

A company I used to work for had one of these as a pool car... it wasn’t terrible. And by that I mean it wasn’t good either...

I want red

Was gunna ask the same thing...

Why do American schools own and operate fleets of buses? Wouldn’t it be cheaper to tender the contracts to private companies? Then it becomes their problem and if EV buses are the future, that’s at their cost...

As a non-American my vote would have to be the Jeep Wrangler - surely you can all agree on liking it. It’s 1 American, 2 has no competition so you can’t argue about it and 3 it’s a direct descendant of the car that beat Hitler

The problem is they are both great. And they are both cheap (relatively speaking). Normally I’m all about the new car... but I dunno with this one...

The Nissan Tiida - ‘04-‘12 model (I think its called the Versa in the USA). I HATE it, so so much. It’s ugly stupid and did I mention ugly? It’s also driven by people who have no interest in driving, therefore they should NOT be driving

VW’s DSG is pretty good. I was hating on ours until I had it reprogrammed, its just as smooth as an auto but with fun when you want it.

I’m beginning to think a BMW 330e is right for me. My daily commute is roughly 45kms and the 330e has 60kms of pure EV range. But then when I want my normal car I have a slightly more powerful 330i and it doesn’t look weird. PHEVS offer the best of both worlds, especially when you live in a country with lackluster EV

I used to hate drive thrus (I even hate the way you have to spell it “thru”) and in principle I still do. I think that it’s the height of laziness not to get out of your car and walk the tens of feet into the establishment to purchase the very food that means you should walk more. Then I had kids and believe me, when

Its not rare or collectable its just a really nice example of an old truck. You could restore a $5k truck back to being near original for a lot less if thats what floats your boat (or tows hehe).

This!

I am so OK with this! Because its one among many of the reasons they can build this for people who live in a Country with the queen on our bank notes and continuing to drive on the correct side of the road. All hail the DCT Corvette

I’m pretty sure they already make a less practical version of the practical version of the A3 hatch.. oh yeah, its called the A3 hatch!

I live in a market where Mitsubishi is still relevant and the only car in their range I would even think about buying is the Triton... and its not even a car

I miss this function so much. Our old Toyota Highlander had it, but our current Outback does not. It was really good if you stopped off somewhere and wanted to give the dog a pat, but not let him run off. I was thinking of buying a 3 Series sedan... but now you reminded me that the 3 series wagon has this...
