Yawn. It was a fun movie, and although true that it had some clumsy elements, reviews like this act like those are the defining aspects of it. I realize this is mostly written for humour, but it still grates a little because it feels too off the mark.

In book 3 I thought the rare Bran chapter was ok - I liked the world-building as they talk about the peoples of the North, the history of Queenscrown and the Nightfort and the Harrenhal tourney.

Perhaps this is actually all a commentary on the nature of a world dominated by a unipolar power??? Dragons are just analogous to the nuclear bomb!

Not just his balls! "Root and stem".

I think that the author didn't pick up on the fact that Bronn and Tyrion had likely concocted Pod's 'insane properties in the bedroom' to further reward him (without his knowledge) for his service. It's still not essential to the overall story probably, but it's still effective character building.
