You should be able to find out how they handle matching in the plan documentation. Or just go online and check your 401(k) statements to see when the company made their matching deposits. Do they make them after each paycheck? Or do they give one lump-sum deposit at the end of the year?

Words that come from other languages are problematic. Sometimes times they take on an anglicized pronunciation, and other times they keep their original pronunciation. And a lot of times different people use different standards.
