You’re right, it’s not. It’s subjective and open to interpretation. Winning a race is winning a race so I have no clue how Lebron being (arguably) the best NBA player makes Phelps a nobody and his achievements irrelevant.

I’m not switching anything. The NBA hands out awards for being the best at an aspect of basketball. How’s that different from certain swimmers being better at certain styles.
