haha I’m not sure I agree. If you have a common problem recurring across a wide variety of planes, it seems worthwhile to have a sensor for that problem. I agree you can’t try and have sensors for everything, but if hypoxia has been a problem for 30 years then having a hypoxia sensor seems like a no-brainer.

I’m confused why they dont measure blood oxygen content during the flight to anticipate this sort of stuff... those sensors are literally $20 on amazon, so you’d think that we could our pilots fitted with something from Lockheed for just, what, $10,000 a pop?

I had a 1997 Miata in college. I loved it with all my heart. I changed the clutch slave cylinder myself, I spent a week buffing and polishing it... it felt like a friend and a teammate in life.
