Málaga is great! Hope you enjoy your time there.
There they will surely have either salmorejo or a variation called "porra antequerana" (Antequera being a town nearby) but yeah, it's the same thing, they just rebranded.
You can also try ajoblanco, which is a almond soup more typical to Málaga.
In any case, be prepared

Andalusian here. What hem was describing is salmorejo, indeed, which is better IMO but more like a creamy soup (unless you go easy on the bread) so it's a whole different thing.
On the other hand, the gazpacho recipe showed here is basically correct. Green peppers are a must and cucumber is generally added, although it
