Any time I read an article like this:

I'm window shopping Battlefield Gothic 2, and my knowledge of 40k lore has gone from 0 to spending half the workday reading wikis in the last week. All to say: I got that reference!

its a 90's pc game. the AI isnt THAT sophisticated. If anything the game did back then the same we do today when they want to make a game more difficult. instead of making the AI smarter, they just give it an unfair advantage. more resources, stronger units, etc. It’s actually pretty amazing with the advances we make

Geez that’s a 40k reference I haven’t seen in a few years.

Way more of a Scipio Africanus girl myself.

Oh yeah, that absolute dogshit ps3 version of inquisition. I made the very the very stupid version decision to buy it, but luckily I managed to find it used for only about $30 or so, as opposed to a full priced new copy at least. Any shorter transition or loading screen would still take 3ish minutes and a bigger

I think PC was the target audience to be fair, CDPR have always been a PC title centric studio.

oh it’s CD Projekt, the underdogs who became big players!

You’re...not really the contrary opinion here. It sounds like you think you might be, but these “people” who are giving CDPR a pass because it’s CDPR appear from every comment section I’ve read to be a minority. If you go over to the subreddit for this game (chock full of what was, as of a few days ago at least, its

Oh man, I must have blocked out DA:I running like warm shit on my OG console, but suddenly I’m remembering that being the last straw between me and Bioware.

CDPR has, effectively, struck out. They’ll stay in the game, and I hope they No Man’s Sky the shit out of their game, because the writers deserve the airtime.

After playing all of Destiny 1 and playing Destiny 2 up until Forsaken, I still hold that they should’ve sticked with just D1 and the entirety of D2 and beyond be DLC.

I still dream that they look back, port D1 to D2 engine, sell it as a DLC (and perhaps give it as courtesy to OG D1 owners), merge the two games into just DESTINY, with no blasted numbers, and from there build just one game,...

Or it could be more like...

That would be good for the consumer, but that’s unfortunately not what motivates these companies.

Can it start as a fake out finisher with him grabbing a mic stand and about to homerun them with it?

There was a point when I came to the realization I was planning life events around when I needed to harvest crops. I was finally able to break free of that and many other similar games and never looked back. I hope the remains of my farm burns to the ground with flash. lol

[Bitter “get off my lawn” statement.]

Tempting, considering all the advertisements I have to browse through when looking at their advertisements. I don’t like the idea of cutting into their means of supporting the site though. I’d just be happy with not being interrupted while I typed a- F***ING D***IT NOBODY LIKES YOU DELL -comment. I feel like maybe a 1

My guess is that with something like a Pihole instead of just blocking an ad you could replace it with a little window running doom. A browser extension could probably also do it.

If they won't respect you as a visitor, AdBlock. :P
