Agreed. I believe you're speaking of Lipton Witch, and yes, it's fantastic.

I almost cried when I met him in Boulder. I was all shaky. I still get nervous thinking about it.

It is a masterpiece, IMO.

All of his stuff is great. OK Bear is an especially nice album to come back to, if you have the chance.

It's the only signed Enigk record I have. I met him in Boulder a few years ago just before a The Fire Theft show.

It's always hard for me to stick with bands that I love as they go through changes, but SDRE has proven time and again that whatever they put out, I'll love.

That's a solid point, and I'd tend to agree for the most part. It's hard because SDRE/Mineral/Kinsellas are so so different from what the word "emo" means today. Honestly I'd love to do a 12-part docuseries on the modern etymology of the word.
