I grew up as one of those kids who would go to a 7-Eleven (or an eating establishment with a self-serve soda fountain), get a cup, and fill it with equal parts of various soft drinks. And, curiously enough, we always called that concoction “Swamp Water.” So, seeing your picture of all the flavors mixed together caused

Now you have me dreaming of a Futurama VR experience, where we control miniaturized versions of ourselves to get the worms out of Fry’s stomach...

For me, the funniest part of this Twitter exchange is the person who replies, “the dub is... not good... it actually warps the narrative!!! Please sub...”

It’s weird how we can all see something so differently. For instance I think the never ending story sucks. It’s so random with weird things for weirds sake, but no story coherence.... creature design that’s hideous....

Thanos both outmaneuvered Hulk with his combat prowess and overpowered Hulk because he was enhanced by the Power Stone. (The same Power Stone that allowed Thanos to one-shot Captain Marvel in Endgame.)

I’ll always upvote Jamie Madrox and his Kinja army.

I love Mister Rogers, and I think Tom Hanks is a good choice. That said, I can’t help hearing Forrest Gump’s drawl hidden in there whenever he talks. It kind of takes me out of the moment.

So... that Dani Moonstar does triple-duty as Wolfsbane and Karma too?

According to the Ancient One, yes, it’s real. However, that fact is really only known to a very small, very secretive group of people.

Does it weird anyone else out that they keep calling The Lion King “live-action,” when it’s probably completely computer generated?

I mean... it must have been hard, because no one got it right!

I think the original Marvel Comics adaptation still holds in the new continuity. Also, in the Chewbacca limited series a couple years ago, he has the medal afterwards but ends up giving it away to a kid who helped him out, because he’s not really interested in it.

I mean... you can say that, sure. But don’t forget that, until recently, Disney (through ABC) was the one that kept giving Tim Allen regular work.

Hey now... we already have an alternate Indiana Jones! Just get Sean Patrick Flanery to reprise his Indy role from The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles.

Absolutely agree. In fact, I think Bran sending Jon to the “real north” was his last gift to his brother, sending him where he was meant to be.

I also saw Akira on the big screen in 1989, and absolutely agree that it still holds up as a high point of the animated medium.

I won’t lie... their interpretation of Cap choosing not to pick up the hammer for Thor’s sake was exactly how I interpreted that event when I watched Endgame. And, looking back, it works perfectly well when you rewatch the scene in Age of Ultron with that context in mind.

I’d imagine that opening up that case would result in a pretty major change in your life.

...this also helps continue the thread from the last time we see him in the Clone Wars, which was him getting his ass thoroughly kicked by Sidious...
