In these tug of wars, traction is king. You want a real towing test, take something like an 8000 lb trailer and line the trucks up side by side at the bottom of a long grade. Then race up the grade. Then turn around on the top and come back down. Truck that gets to the top first and is the quickest/least dramatic to

Using the term “designed” in regards to whatever this is is a MAJOR stretch.

The problem is that, the concept cares rarely prove to be better than the status quo, and the status quo was right after we got rid of the cheapy-boxy 80's cars. Cars today are indistinguishable from the same model from 1994. Short of updates to the lighting and the entertainment system. Likewise, sitting in any car

We definitely had to pause a few times to wonder if we were being fucked with

I thought for sure it was a troll... and they were going to bring out the “real one”.... I’m literally shocked at how bad this is.

US consumers: haven’t had a meaningful raise in decades.

I know they were, it was a joke...

Not following.

It has Decepticon Face.

No I’m not watching your stupid video. If I wanted to watch videos I’d own a television. I go on the internet to read. Jesus.

A pity that the hybrid version of this guy isn’t getting more love.... Most of the dudes lusting for Tesla Mod3's would be FAR better off over the long run just buying the affordable, super-clean Toyota Camry Hybrid getting 53 MPG, and under 200 grams per mile of CO2.

Is that true? Turnover has been so high I don’t know that any acting cabinet head has timed out due to a regulatory limit.

To be fair, this outfit is having a hard enough time just finding qualified individuals for these posts, even temporarily.

The only good thing about the current situation is they can only be an acting department head for a limited amount of time. But with this admin, that’s probably longer than most people can deal with working with Cheetolini, so it’s a revolving door of people in “acting” status.

IIRC, the original concept of “ride sharing” was that people would be carpooling using the app, literally sharing rides. It has morphed into this pseudo-taxi service.

They really need to address the abuse of the “acting” status of all these cabinet officials. It was one thing when it was a stop-gap until someone could be confirmed, but with this administration it is being used to sidestep Congressional oversight.

Uber and Lyft were always aiming at being  a taxi company with nice apps (and fleet costs fully outsourced to drivers). Calling themselves “ride-sharing” like they were just trying to streamline carpooling was only a ruse to get around taxi regulations.

Honestly I’d way rather have the 17” wheels (and a manual) in the Grand Touring, I don’t want to spend extra on tires and take the penalty in rotating mass for the entire time I have the car. It’s not like the models with 19” wheels have upgraded brakes or anything it’s just a performance/economy/cost hit.

I think it should be further highlighted that the 2016 Grand Touring headlights and front end trim are different from the Touring and Sport. The differences are subtle but significant.
