I think it’s the right move because the Rams are fronting most of the money to have this stadium and surrounding area built. However it’s the wrong move for the NFL because now it shows that you don’t need public money to build stadiums, juse some one with deep pockets. Theres only so many cities that are able to host…
Meanwhile like 6 miles away the St. Louis Mills Outlet Mall (which was built for $250 million like 15 years ago) recently sold for $9 million in auction and now the winner decided they don’t want the place.

Also, he bought the team for $750 million in 2010. and it is valued at $1.45 billion. He nearly doubled his value in 5 years, and the team has not even been good!
Stl has had 12 non-winning seasons in a row, the worst five year stretch in the history of the league in the middle of that period, and an owner who has an outright contempt for the city.
