Even then, drawing back on my magazine editor days, I’d say that one doesn’t “lumber through a morass” while either “stunned or constrained.” Also, which is it? Even when you take the 3rd “or” out of the original phrase there, it still has that tone of someone swinging around hoping to land on an opinion.
