Where did you find out about this as I’m in Metro Detroit as well?

I fire it up every morning and evening, just to find out what surprises I may have in store. More than a few times I’ve found it recommending alternate routes, just to find out later that I missed a huge snarl up. There are other times where I decided to ignore it and regretted it.
