Interesting that both 'usually' and 'problem' required shortening, yet somehow, against all odds, 'episode' sailed through intact.

Oh yes… yes, it is. And the humor of that one isn't lost on me at all.
Clearly not, as I stated they had a strong track record. But currently, I can't take them seriously until they retract their 'classifications' on those individuals, for that is diametrically opposed to their declared mission statements.
You'd better hope 'nuance' isn't on the SAT's in five years when you take the test.
Again, thank you for demonstrating the intellectual development of those who want to hang Maher.
As a kid I did, sure. But honestly, as an adult, I've only seen it on the AV Club. It seems there's a wish to be 'clever' at all times here, and that extends to the most un-clever of individuals.
I shouldn't have expected someone who couldn't understand Maher's statement to have understood mine.
Oh, so now it's OK to contextualize people's words?
Hush now. It's pointless to speak when the outrage machine is on its highest setting.
I have to cringe when I see endearing references to the SPLC the same way as when Mother Theresa is held up as a symbol of love. They may have had a strong track record in the past, but their treatment and classification of Muslim reformers has sadly invalidated their mission statement.
So you still don't understand his extraordinarily simple statement? There was nothing exculpatory about it, he was just contextualizing his experience. Clearly, you're just one who wants to hang Maher for anything.
Oh, I see. What you said was completely wrong… but you're still right. So we should be judging you only by your intent?
Clearly I'm not dealing with an intellectual heavyweight here. How did I defend Bill Maher by stating he didn't comprehend Bill Maher's apology? Read it again and read his response, and then tell me different.
I really need to argue that my medieval German name isn't associated with the early 20th century American Ku Klux Klan movement?
And you're a fucking idiot.
The unfortunate thing is that in the current climate, I can't be entirely certain that you're making a joke.
Christ on a cross! He was fired? Goddammit… there's nothing I hate more than finding out I agree with Breitbart on a topic. Like I'm fond of saying, sometimes conservatives are right for the wrong reasons, and liberals are wrong for the right reasons.
I agree with everything you said here. If it were a 'joke', that he'd thought about, written, and then said, then I'm totally with you. This was an ad-lib, and thought of at a moment's notice. Having watched him for nearly two decades, I'm certain this would never have made it into his routine.
But I'm not overestimating you. I heard that plenty in grade school… but somewhere around the fifth grade, it became too infantile to say. That said, I had the fortune of not being raised in the American school system.
Maher's quip was an ad-lib that he had less than a second to think up. You sat at your computer, wrote it out, and thought "yeah, this is good", before pressing 'post'.
