The majority of humans on the planet can’t see any difference between 4k and 8k.  It’s all marketing bullshit to sell you a TV that costs $200 to make for $8000.

On a 65" screen, with 20/20 vision, you would have to sit less than 2 feet from the screen to see the difference between 4K and 8K.
