Some good and interesting picks. Another list to bookmark.

Unbelievably bold television, defying convention and form. I don't think its hyperbole to say that I've never seen such an unrestrained vision put onto mainstream television.

My two picks

Ridley does need a good script..(this wasn't, and the characters bar David are underdeveloped, expendable and forgettable), even still..I could of lived with the usual visual elegance Ridley can muster , and yet, this didn't have one memorable set piece to my mind. Some nice world building yes but even the final

Well…

Is there a reason the writers/producers refuse to break the mold of the Simpsons? Surely people will watch regardless? Why not run that risk. (They've played around with a few ideas..extended episodes, live episodes, the occasional character death) I feel without being able to work outside the rigid structure of 'the

It wasn't cut, he explains just that.

Rick isn't a reliable purveyor of 'facts' though..nor is he the Rick we started with. It doesn't really make sense that Rick could have another Ricks memory but hey..theres alot of grey area to this show. Perhaps the Rick watching made a phoney memory based around a truth? As above, the 'home dimension' family isn't

Surprised how long I laughed at that.

I'm starting to think Ricks memory of said accident could be 'real' and it was himself that sent the bomb, in an effort to traumatically kickstart his life focus on science/portal guns/more cerebral activities…love & family being a distraction etc..much like the route the young Rick pictured was taking..

Do you have prince albert in a can? You do? Well you better let the poor guy out!

You're Not ReALLLLl!

If anything needed a remake, 'I.T's' this..(ahem..and this looks slick with stronger production values/acting, as you would expect. (admittedly..trailers are hardly representative of the finished product)

Andy Garcia acted his heart out in this movie.

I'm gonna leave this here to see if any fireworks go off.

Animal Collective haven't lost me but they will do if they keep making albums that are incredibly 'busy' shall we say. Think it started with Centipede Hz..but Painting With and their new EP has the same garish sounds. (Though I actually like Bonkers..and Golden Gals previously is more on point) Obviously they're a

I guess I'll have to defend Kelly a little more vehemently than others. He's a darn good visual storyteller with variable scripts, turn the sound off on his films and they are very cinematic..very intelligible. He builds mood and atmosphere effectively. That means more than a good story to me sometimes. The opening

Grahams show is great but he should lose the opening monologue completely (or at least make it funny), it's truely cringe worthy. It barely lasts 2 minutes and whilst I see the need for a warmup..anything would be funnier.

Maybe you have to know the Jimmy Saville specifics to pick up on the details they throw in. For instance, The keys the hospital 'gave' him. His special hospital room. The broad accent. The footage of him jogging. The scale of charity work. The adoration from the press and public (admittedly exaggerated) , who often

Thought this episode was very funny..loved the slightly disturbing projectile vomitting, such a good idea for what it represents (which was also foreshadowed last week)..loved the mindless nostalgia zombie talk, Bill & Bill etc. I think they did a fine job given the time constraints..it may of not been profound stuff,
