This reminds me of this classic college athletics moment:

needs more wing. clearly this is a base impreza model.

Aliens.

How am I supposed to know about a car I never knew about?

I'm a function over form guy through and through and since I don't consider ruining one's suspension, steering, tires, front bodywork, or undercarriage a viable function, you can probably surmise what my stance is on, uh...stancing...

How the hell are they planning to play the game without footballs?

well yes, the majority of commercial ones are but there are other types of 3D printers...

Traveling perpendicular to the wind with a canted sail and a keel.

Yea.... sure....

I think the writers at Gizmodo should be required to have an engineering background before writing stories like this.

No, that just makes two of you who don't understand physics. It is PHYSICALLY IMPOSSIBLE for that device to create the same or more energy than it takes for it to be pushed through the air. If it did, we'd all be driving cars that had unlimited mileage...

This device MUST produce less energy than the drag caused by pushing it through the air. Energy can neither be created nor destroyed. This might be a nice thing to put on your car while parked on a windy day - assuming it can track the wind.

Man, the 1.0 is so tiny it'd look hilarious in the bay. Picture of its turbo so you can join in the chuckles:

Sheetz is a low-rent Wawa as far as I've experienced.

R62, Western Cape, South Africa, South Africa

Can't we just agree Pennsylvania produces the best gas station oases? Sheetz, Wawa, Turkey Hill (mostly for the ice cream)...they're all amazing

Sheetz is shit :p

Wawa.

Name another AWD vehicle under $25,000 (entry level impreza's go for $17,000) that's better.

For North America, I would say the Focus. The gap between the 2011 and the 2012 MY is immense. It went from the worst car in the category to one of the best.
