If I'm not at either of those places, I'm probably either driving, socializing, or in some other situation where it is not appropriate for me to be surfing the web on my smartphone.

Hello! I'm actually taking flying lessons right now. Though I'm mostly using a Cessna 152, not a fighter jet. You can turn a plane with the rudder. Banking is much more comfortable and effective, though. And I doubt that any plane can pull anywhere near 8 Gs laterally.
