Well, so much for that.
Well, so much for that.
I have a current-gen base Impreza hatch, which weighs in at just under 3000 lbs. Apparently it's about 200 lbs less than the previous generation. I'd expect a similar drop in weight for the new WRX, which seems to be based on the current Impreza.
I'm half tempted to gradually convert my 2012 Impreza hatch into a WRX with parts from the new WRX. I've already got an STI rear sway bar on there!
Interesting, on mine, there is a separate button just south of the wheel to toggle the free scrolling. Marathon Mouse, or something like that. Battery's lasted me over 2 years so far!
Logitech makes mice with a button that turns the free scrolling on and off. You can scroll for miles and miles if that's what you want, or you can hit a button and it'll click at regular intervals again.
There's some dude who works near me who DD's his viper. I haven't seen it in the snow yet, but I have often seen it in the winter months.
+1! I live in an affluent suburban area. My first few years of driving, I had a ratty, beat to hell, 20 year old toyota. It was easily in the top quarter of a percent of shitty-looking cars in the area. I typically drove somewhat above the speed limit, but no more than everyone else. In the two years that I drove…
I've had good experiences with Dell's customer support. I had an extended warranty on my laptop in college. When the video card crapped out on me, I called them up and they sent a guy out the very next day. He came to my dorm room and replaced the broken part right there. Of course, first I had to wallow my way…
Wow. Such disgusting. Many unbelievable. So period.
I typically elect to just wait in my seat for a minute or two until the aisle becomes less of a shoving match.
You're bloody well right there.
30k tops new, but then you need to get all the fancy taxi meters and electronics and screens and partitions and credit card readers. Probably not up to 50k, but more than your typical panther.
Some NYC cabs have advertising, they have illuminated signs on top that often advertise for shows and exhibits and such. Picture below:
My understanding was that the medallion can be transferred to a new car without paying another million dollars.
I'm glad you're happy with your recumbent. I've never had comfort issues on my diamond frame race bike, but perhaps that will come as I age. My only hands-on recumbent experience is on a trike that I built with a group of peers for ASME's Human Powered Vehicle Competition. Our particular entry was not a stellar…
My 2012 Impreza (non-wrx) has the same thing. You'd never know they were there unless you look for them, but they're easy as pie to get to.
I had a 2002 Passat that had a manual lever to change seat height. My 2012 Impreza has the same thing. You're correct about tilt, though.
Not quite sure what you're trying to say here. I don't use a knee defender. If I did, the people in front of me wouldn't be able to recline. But wait, they can't recline anyway, because my knees are in the way. So in that sense, a knee defender would prevent my knees from getting bruised without causing any…
I'm just shy of six feet, but I have long legs as well, so I have the same issue. The person in front of me isn't going to be able to recline during the flight, unless they manage to push the seat back hard enough to break my legs. I also choose to not recline my seat, unless the seat behind me is vacant. It's not…
I'm tall-ish, but by no means unusually so. A fraction of an inch under 6 feet. I have yet to sit in a coach seat on a plane without having my knees in the back of the seat in front of me, even when it's fully upright. That means that the person in front of me can't recline. I'm not trying to be a dick about it,…
