I'm with you, I never cared for the concept. To me, the WRX/STI are all about performance without sacrificing utility, rather than prioritizing style over function. Note: As a 2012 Impreza hatch owner, I may have some bias here.

I had that model Camry for a few years, it was a hand-me-down from my parents, and a base model. Sold it in 2011 with 90K miles for $900. It had all sorts of issues though, cosmetic and otherwise. And the locks didn't work.

I've always wanted someone to make a manual CVT, with a knob that you turn to adjust engine RPM. As in, I select an RPM, transmission adjusts itself to maintain that RPM. I think the best thing to do would have been to check up on the cop who had been shot. Not sure what I would've done in the situation, though.
I know the guy meant well, but the police probably didn't need help tracking down their stolen car. And having more people driving 100mph on city streets is never a good thing.
