Thanks for the informative article. I'm going to pick a nit, though. "A fire in a lithium-ion battery isn't just combustion, it is a chemical reaction. " A fire is a chemical reaction.

Makes sense to me. A new house will probably be around for 50+ years. Even if EVs aren't mainstream now, I expect that they will become mainstream within that timeframe.

I use the 12V outlets for my GPS (Which can also run off USB) and my power inverter (Changes the 12V DC to 120V AC), which passengers sometimes use to power a computer.

Re. Site Refresh: I like to keep my browser all the way to the left in my screen, with the Jalopnik logo off of the screen. This allows me to read articles at work without making it quite as obvious that I'm spending my time on a car blog. With the old iteration, the notifications were on the right, so I could

My guess is that the plaque says they've sold 250,000 cars total since opening in 1970, which is still quite impressive. This Link says that Subaru sold 1,238 cars in the entire state of Colorado this May. If Subaru is selling (around) 1,200 cars/month in the state, it is unlikely that one dealership is selling over

I kinda doubt your numbers. 250,000 cars/year= 685 cars/day. Factor in that they're closed on Sundays, that's actually 800 cars/business day. They're open for an average of 13.25 hours on the days that they're doing business, so that comes out to 60 cars per hour, or one car per minute. I guarantee you that
