funny how the suspension isn't compressed when the car's in the air.

I always wear a helmet when I ride my bike. I've split helmets in half more than once. Better it be the $50 helmet than my noggin.

My first car had manual windows. And no AC, so the windows were always down in the summer, unless it was raining. I could easily reach across to get the passenger window, and I could reach behind me while driving to get the left backseat window, but that right rear window always eluded me.

Mars Rover wins a GT simulator.

I think that's exactly what singleoverheadcamzombie is looking for. Backup cameras are nice, but often aren't worth the cost to someone on a tight budget. Same deal for fancy audio systems, automatic lights and wipers, power locks/windows/mirrors, etc. I like all those features, but if I'm just looking to spend as

I'm 24 and living with my parents, not paying any rent. It works out well for everyone involved— They're out of town most of the time anyway, so I'm able to keep the house in order while they're away.

Custom Convertibles are very rarely NP.

S3 wagon/hatchback with manual transmission please?

It's a 2.0T. I think it has some sort of e-diff, with an optional real lsd.

I'd assume that the Jetta is more refined/nicer interior. That's usually why people get a GTI over a much quicker but similarly priced mazdaspeed 3

I didn't know that the EOS was discontinued. Was the EOS ever anything other than a Golf Cabrio with a different name?

Are you the VW Eos with a different badge?

Holy fuck.

I got a subaru because of the AWD. More specifically, I got my Subaru because it was an AWD car that I could actually afford. Try finding another AWD passenger car for under $20k.

Damn, you paid $1600 more for your legacy than I did for my base-model Impreza 5 door about 15 months ago.

I generally agree with you, but I bought a brand new car (Impreza wagon) a bit over a year ago. It's my only car, so I wanted to make sure I didn't accidentally get something that had been abused or poorly maintained. I was looking at a few certified pre-owned options, but they were only marginally less expensive

I have a 2012 Impreza 5-door, and I think the taillights look like they came off some crappy dodge hatchback. But whatever, I'm not looking at the taillights when I'm driving it.

My insurance company calls my 5-door Impreza a wagon.

23k-33k AA batteries would make something equivalent to the batteries a Model S comes with, so they'd last just as long as the Model S batteries.

you could, in theory, run a Model S on one AA battery. But it would be extraordinarily slow, and it would kill the battery extremely quickly, so it would be absolutely useless.
