aaaand, you beat me to it.

Yeah, prolly, if I could afford it. But I may have to replace the Buick badges with Opel/Vauxhall badges to avoid the embarrassment of driving a buick when I'm under 30 years old.

lol jersey...

I'm voting CP. I'd prefer to spend $9k on a well-used miata that I know has been maintained properly. Have the fluids ever been changed? Belts? Hoses? Is the engine bay full of raccoon nests? Some of you may say that's a nice price for a new miata, I say it's a lousy price for a miata that's been sitting unloved

So steampunk.

I've never been on Emirates, but EgyptAir is a pleasure as well. At least, compared to most American airlines.

I'm abstaining from the vote. Looks like a sweet truck. Would I pay 17,000 for it? Nope! Would I rather pay 17,000 for this than for a new corolla? Yep! Probably worth that money to someone.

Along these lines, I'm curious about how an autonomous car would do in snow. Will it figure out that it can't turn and brake as quickly before it's too late?

I don't think electric windows are much more expensive to buy than manual windows, which is why you don't really see them anymore. However, they're vastly less likely to break, and much cheaper to repair when they do.

I bet I could crash a Juke R in less time than that.

In modern cars, side and rear windows use tempered glass, which crumbles into tiny little bits so you can break it relatively safely if you need to in an emergency. Windshields use "regular" glass, held together with plastic, so that it won't all fall apart when it gets hit by a pebble kicked up by the car ahead of

When I was like 12, I went to a space-themed summer camp at Wallop's Island.

This will be the first time the Wallops Island launch facility will send anything beyond Earth's orbit

Chernobyl?

I'm with you there. I think it would look great if they just made it one solid color.

My orthopedic surgeon has always given me smiley faces rather than Xs.

Sump pumps are great, but I've found that there's sometimes a correlation between when the basement floods and when the power's out, so a non-electric alternative has some appeal.
