Average lifespan is around 4000 weeks (80 years or so). Blowing up golf courses wouldn't dramatically increase anyone's risk of dying. Plenty of people would stop golfing anyway, because golfers are a bunch of pussies.

I'm 5'11" and thin. I don't mind economy class. It's more comfortable than most car backseats I've been in. But my current employer insists on getting business class for everyone, so I only ride economy for personal trips now.
