Efron lately seems to be determined to make a career out of starring in fairly broad/low-brow comedies. But so long as directors keep going to the well of getting him naked for laughs, I can deal with it.

Nobody is going to go into Angry Birds expecting a good movie.

Yeah - we got one brief shot of it. Seems if it'd just been a wolf head, everyone there would have been very underwhelmed, as opposed to immediately accepting Rickon as a conclusive Stark.

Hmm. Good point. Maybe they go by trailers then? There's definitely something other than pure randomness going on with some of the numbers/names they pull out.

Not sold at all on the Shaggydog theories. I think he's dead. At the Umber's hands. Anything else is pretty much just wishful thinking.

As I mentioned somewhere else in this thread. I reckon the oddsmakers must be using the cast lists for episodes.

I'm assuming that the deadpool is based on released cast lists for the upcoming episodes - otherwise some of this speculation is extremely random.

Oh God I hope not. I mean maybe in the books, but I can't imagine getting particularly invested in that little piece of parental abuse amidst the enormous tapestry of parental abuse we already have. Just get Sam to the Citadel and move him along in his importance to stories we care about.

If it's NOT dumb, it sounds like it could be something wonderful.

I LIKE NOTHING ABOUT THIS ARRANGEMENT EXCEPT THAT IT'S JUMANJI

My guess is that the next time we catch up with Samwell's story, he's arriving at the Citadel without Gilly.

Yeah - the montage mashes together the dialogue from a different scene with footage from the fight. She's shown to be talking about "Arya Stark" with her legs crossed, not whilst she's lying down after being beaten with a stick.

ZERO CHANCE: There is no chance whatsoever that GRRM started that whole parallel story, which for long sections had no impact on Westeros at all, for her to die off in Essos. She's one of the very few who I am convinced is in it til the end.

ie. the Skylar White argument.

To be fair they did try to do that with Grotto. But obviously they had to make him worthy of being on the Punisher's hitlist, so the sympathising had to be coupled with a pretty terrible crime.

Half wondering if the comment about the likeness to Bale was just so that Caroline could use that absolutely perfect caption from Batman Begins.

Surely only supernaturally gifted beings get that allowance?

How did this and Lucifer come out in the same season?

I'm on board with that assessment - the team need a medic.

So this is basically "Will Ferrell and Kristen Wiig make a really Lifetimey Lifetime movie"? There's nothing in that trailer that looks any dafter than the typical fare. If that's indicitive of the content of the movie, it really won't stand out as a parody.
