Black boxes are designed to survive impact at hundreds of miles per hour into the ground. While hitting water at those speeds isn’t much different, they most likely did survive. How long they’d stay readable after years in the ocean is, of course, not easily determined.

The good ole “i’m Not going alone and unnoticed’

Yes - the big difference there being that the US never denied involvement, and reached a settlement with Iran at the International Court of Justice that involved expression of regret and payments to the victims’ families, even if not admitting legal liability or formally apologizing.

I remember this one. It was also highly documented. Disturbed me to my core that in truth, a pilot can just ram a whole jet into the ground because he’s just done with this life - and everybody else’s.

As someone who has dealt with suicides and near-suicides, I can tell you that when people get to the point of taking their own lives, they are usually so self-absorbed that other people’s welfare often does not even get on their radar screens. Their emotional pain just drowns everything else out.

Then again, dipshits who can’t distinguish

Eh, I’m not outraged by it. Dude deserved an ass kicking and got one.

100000% nope.

If someone went after a 61-year-old friend of mine I’d the the same thing to him. Fuck that guy.

So he wasn’t a hit man so much as a tackled one.

I still don’t know which is dumber. A fan jumping on the ice in the NHL to attack a player, or something like this.

As Bret Hart is my favorite wrestler, and he’s an elderly now, I was beside myself with rage to see this live. Got in on those “Fuck him up!” chants on the top of my lungs.

JFC Bret has a history of a near fatal stroke, this isn’t just any other wrestler.
