It happens all the time, where things just go silent for whatever reason, or the people behind the project put up an announcement saying "We can't do it. Project is over"
Yogscast is a pretty venerable name in YouTube broadcasting, they aren't known for making games. This was a risky gamble in that they are gamers who had an idea for a game they wanted but didn't have the talent to make the game themselves.
