I kind of hope Justified has it's budget slashed at some point so they have to do an entire episode that's just everyone bullshitting around the marshal's office. It'd be like a Kentucky version of Archer.

Shelby seemed so protective of her, I was almost wondering if they were somehow related.

Think back to how twitchy (I'm sorry, "mercurial") he was in season 1 ("Come on, Emmett, show me the benjamins the homies are always rapping about!"), and then how quietly shocked he was when Quarles first busted out his sleeve gun on Emmett and his secretary. Now, he's not even blinking when he's got bits of an FBI

Boyd and Ava were quoting Dr. Pepper's old ad campaigns. If that's product placement, it's really meta.

He's told a few stories about her (In the "Harlan Roulette" episode, he talked about how she tried to stand up to some union busters who were

The only way Reavers make sense to me is if they aren't so much "psychotically violent" as "psychotically xenophobic." They have some kind of functional society amongst themselves that we'll never get to see (though the ritual scarring, radio messages full of inarticulate(?) screaming, and embrace of radiation

My take is that the Reavers recognize and accept their own, and smelled that that guy was one of the genetic freaks that react badly to the Pax, so they left him alive while they went to town on the rest of the crew.

@avclub-aeca6f6db3693e36434b38af6e683b9a:disqus In point of fact, the movie is exactly the same if Wash lives. Whedon's talked sometimes about the longer first draft of the movie (you can see the highlights here, and the whole thing is floating around on-line if you want to google it). In it, neither Book nor Wash

It was a little bizarre that the Doctor specifically quotes that the city never sleeps… right before a three-hundred-foot woman takes a leisurely stroll through the city in the dead of night, apparently unseen by anyone (because you know if someone spotted that, they wouldn't take their eyes off it). I wonder if there

River regenerated in NYC in 1969. Amy wasn't even born until 1989, so that's twenty whole years for "Mels" that are unaccounted for. I just assumed that she did nothing of interest aside from getting across the atlantic ocean and used the backwards-aging trick she mentioned in "Let's Kill Hitler" so she'd be the same

The Ponds’ friends can never understand what it means to travel with The Doctor and The Doctor will never really grasp the appeal of everyday, adventure-free existence.
