Surprised by people's guesses. My first guess was Belinda's boyfriend Audacious (?): my reading of that scene where he's in the car with the boys is that he's clearly having second thoughts. Perhaps it's revealed in the next season that he actually went back that night and saw Gamby and Russell outside Belinda's

It's easy to get caught up in 'tangible details': "everything is fucking", or "blue balls of the heart", or "influence so meager in this sublunar world" et. al from the dialogue from this season. Or the vague nature of the plot (comes more from the way the characters are presented; I knew who Burris, Dixon, Blake,

Really loved the final shot with the full moon, and Black Angels blasting through the speakers. Par for the course for the underrated Miguel Sapochnik (Repo Men is solid as discount Verhoeven, and he directed the best Game of Thrones episode to date).

"Crime exists contingent on human desire"

"Anybody ever tell you that you look like a struck match?"

My sense of humor is of the 'easily amused' variety, which is why I always get a kick out of Damon Wayans' posse correcting Marvin on his 'culturally uninformed' use of the word "beotch".

Really dug the Remo Williams cameo. And because I'm easily amused by random half baked insults, Michael Irby's "mama's boy" insult cracked a smile on my face. The dialogue is something the actors have yet to crack the way most others did in Season 1, but I like the sheer velocity of the story this season.
