Do you think he built it in his friend Joe’s garage?

That’s evac time - involves a shit ton of Metamucil and some serious straining in the golden throne - this is what happens when you live on a roughage-free diet

“Working”

He must’ve been out of his shell when it happened.

Why the larger discs at the rear? The front usually gets the beefier braking

The timing for my last post is unfortunate. After the Outback started misfiring the other day, the verdict came back from the garage - head gasket gone, with a repair estimate of $4400. I think we’re done, although I thought we’d have a few more years :-(

My daily is an ‘02 outback 5MT with ~170k. Slow as shit, rusty is spots and getting to the age where things are starting to go and every repair job includes at least one “is it worth growing more money at this?” moment, but l love this car, so I persist in keeping it on the road. I know a replacement is inevitable one

Iirc, not that long ago some dealers were offering a free rifle with a car purchase. So this is an improvement, I guess?

I’d be propping a couple of nails against their rear tires

Not sure what to make of these. I like “old”, but I’m also fine with some sympathetic restomodding to increase performance, drivability and comfort, while maintaining the essential look and feel of the car. These Alvises (Alvae?) have pretty much done all the restomodding - the downside is that I like doing all that

The organization might be non-profit, but Charlie Kirk certainly isn’t

Fair point, but I figured the price of admission for 928s was sufficiently high to discourage the “I can be driving a Porsche for five grand!” brigade

“It breaks my heart to have to make you work in my fields, Lads, and I get no pleasure in selling off your children, and when I flog you or brand you, it’s never personal, and I do it with the greatest respect. It’s just business, you understand.....it’s the American way....”

This seems like another case of someone buying a formerly expensive car cheap, without appreciating that, regardless of the purchase price, expensive cars mean expensive car maintenance*. Can’t think of any other reason why so many problems were left unaddressed. And 205hp out of a ~7 liter engine? CP on principle for

C’est la guerre - you take your luck where you find it, and the weather doesn’t take sides

“Mentally retarded look-alike”

You’re a hero - I was dying reading this

Either she carries a whole new outfit in that large bag, or the deed has yet to be done, and he’s checking his wallet for that condom he stashed in there a number of years ago. She’s just told him “No glove, no love, Love”

I had sandals like that when I was a kid in the 60's (no sisters). These were the sorts of things that our mother’s stuck us in back then and there

Haven’t we seen this pic already? I seem to recall it be used recently, although admittedly it wasn’t in the context of the International Cabal of the Yellow Sweater - we need to be kept abreast of these worldwide conspiracies.
