For $5 million, one could pay eleven Championship caliber players (avg salary of that league in dollars is $440k). A Championship side would wreck the MLS. Yet instead of having a quality team, MLS spends the money on past-their-prime players. It’s not a real league. It’s an exhibition, not a competition.
