He tried to be boulder in his driving, but his talent ran out. Now he’s stuck between a rock and a hard place (the insurance co).

I guess the driver took the car’s power (puts on sunglasses), for granite.
If the Ferrari then caught fire, we could all ask “can you smell what the rock is cooking?”
WELL PLAYED
How is this surprising? She has a British identical twin!!!
Yet you never see people in cold places throwing steaks into snow drifts and pulling them out frozen an hour later. It’s a double standard, I say!
Strangely enough, a pre-1970 Corvette is not associated with this image. Once a car becomes vintage or a classic, I think it cleans up the image somewhat. Are people who drive a ‘67 Mustang different than the guys in a 2011 Mustang?
They chased a kid around with a helicopter last night for jumping a subway fare, and killed a guy last year for selling untaxed cigarettes. The NYPD is out of it’s fucking mind.
Oh I permanently deafened your newborn child from half a mile away and you’re going to arrest me?

It does make it useless for it’s intended purpose
I don’t think his point is that he only likes cars with no negative stereotype whatsoever. It’s that in general, a significant part of one’s preference in cars is influenced by how the car adds to one’s identity, which is a function of the views and connotations that other people hold towards the car and its brand.
You know, there are even worse reasons not to want to own a specific car. At least he’s honest with himself and the rest of us why he doesn’t want a Corvette.
If he thinks that the typical Corvette owner is a bag of dicks, and he doesn’t want other people to think he’s a bag of dicks, then the easiest way for him to…
Agreed. Im surprised he owns ANY car since surely most if not all have some negative connotation out there. In my opinion if you’re a car enthusiast and you enjoy your car then all power to you even if it’s a corolla of a camry or whatever.
You’re confusing ‘dumbass’ with ‘dick’... Its highly understandable that you would think this way. Lets put in terms we can all understand. GWBush was a dumbass. He probably drives a Mustang, especially with his penchant for killing innocent bystanders like its no big deal. Trump is a dick. He probably owns 12…
I keep telling myself that I’ll never own a Corvette because they’re owned by the wrong kind of person, someone I’ll never be. That’s what I keep telling myself
@Rev Slow: But your reply just begs the question, what is quality? If a run-of-the-mill axe cuts well and lasts a long time, what exactly is improved by buying a FancyAxe? If I have a very expensive process for custom making an axe, but the handcrafted result is no better than something banged out in a Chines…
