I’ve been saying this exact same thing for years. That badge/logo is pure garbage, and every time I see it, I’m reminded of Kia’s beginnings as a purveyor of shitboxes.

1st gear. This is what happens when you rest on your laurels. If you make products just good enough, then why would someone buy them? I would buy a comparable Korean car 100 times over anything Nissan is selling right now.

The 4-door is much more practical, I’d highly recommend the switch. The Mrs and I are currently shopping for one to replace our 2 door. The back seat has never been in since we’ve owned it. Gorgeous?! I’m gonna need to see it in person I guess. All the photos I’ve seen give it an squished fish look.  I’d call it ugliest mid-size sedan, but I think the Camry still has that honour.

My guess is Boomers are killing wagons because of their childhood memories of getting slapped around by their angry “greatest generation” parents in the family’s Ford Country Squire.

I don’t like minivans and I don’t like giant obnoxious lifted trucks. Regular trucks for like work and stuff, cool. But the giant rolling coal things that came from the depths of hell? Huge pass. 

The only car I have a stigma against is minivans. As a kid in the 70s and 80s I thought station wagons and full-size vans were cool (especially if they had some airbrushing and a shag carpet interior).

Usually kids don’t want the vehicles their parents drove. For gen X, it’s wagons. For millenials, it’s minivans
