[“if you think that’s overly dramatic and unlikely...”]

I concur, maybe I’m being petty when I read this but can Tesla do no right? Just seems like how the president can no right and everything must be scrutinized by someone being offended.

What if it also sparked an industry of specialists that will jailbreak your car?

But what it also previewed is our imminent future of unprecedented corporate control over how we drive and what we drive.

Ahem....... Sweatshirt and pants weather all weekend in the northeast... though today we need a rain jacket too.

Heh. I don’t even mention email. “I’ll be out of the from XX to XX and will respond to your message upon my return.”

I tell my reports this all the time: it’s about training your colleagues. If you always respond within five minutes, they’ll freak out if it takes you an hour. But if you always respond within 24 hours, 1 hour looks fast. I also try to avoid responding outside of normal business hours or on weekends even if I’m

And so my love-hate relationship with Jeff Bezos continues.

I love the MoviePass idea, but I was running the numbers and I can’t make it work. Yes, if I watch only one movie a month then I break even on my subscription and it’s all gravy after that. So I went back and looked at the movie release schedule for 2016-17.

Yeah, I’m totally on board with the sentiment of the email, but I always roll my eyes when someone says “limited access to email.” Bullshit, you have access to email, you are just making the completely justifiable decision not to check it. Why lie? Who is it that is losing respect for you?

No, nobody is, that’s the p0int. Do you think the company would go bankrupt if you got hit by a bus? If the answer is “no” and (hint) it’s always “no” then take a f’ing vacation.

All my coworkers would put “limited access to email” or “will still be checking email periodically” or something on their vacations! For us, nothing was ever going to be life or death (I realize in some jobs it is more important).

Or, better idea. Don’t lie, and simply say “I am out of the office until XXXX If you have an urgent need, please contact YYYYY, otherwise I will respond to you when I’m in back in the office.”

This deserves more stars. I can sort of appreciate the Wrangler for what it is, but a good half (maybe more) of the owners are just infuriating and manage to ruin the vehicle for me.

Tears man... genuine tears.

Jeep. Wrangler.

No hate for the Prius; just the snobby Prius drivers in LA.

I unfairly hate the car because 90% of its drivers’ are utter twats and shit drivers.

For what it’s worth, I don’t hate the Prius. Prius drivers, on the other hand...

I thought you were state of 30 or so, much less an office.
