you may want to look at a non-traditional resume like a functional one. It may spark some linkages as you work to land a new job.

I’m not looking at developer roles, I’m too senior at this point for that.
look at half steps -
i bought a CD of IE 3.0 for work many moons ago. At the time it was better than Mosaic which was the corporate standard.
For bill payments I just pay things on payday. I’ve set up recurring payments that go off on the same day as I’m paid. I split the monthly cost in two so each pay I’m ‘spending’ the same amount.
I like to do a bit of both. I’ll buy dress shirts from one retailer that last and are consistently sized.
I mentor through my old school, when I talk to the students I always say one day I may end up working for you. Casting a wide network of people you’re willing to help is the way to go.
There are quite a few different sizes and weights. The other aspect is the grip, I found the DE89’s handle to be a bit small and slick. The Ikon Bulldog handle is a bit longer, has better grip and is heavier.

Early 20s - there was an ad campaign that showed how saving a $100 a month from 25 to 35 was worth many times more than saving in your 40’s.
when I’m doing this in my head for a dozen contractors it’s easier to multiply by 2. Plus chances are if you’re hourly you won’t work the full number of hours between holidays, vacation and overtime.
I use this all the time in my job when budgeting for IT contractors. I do it slightly differently, multiply by two - and that’s the annual cost in thousands. E.g. $40/hr is $80k a year.
One small tip, the hiring manager is going to review half a dozen similar applicants, after 3 or 4 they start to blend. Be sure to get across what differentiates you from others.
