They’ve had remotely controlled mining trucks in underground mines for at least a decade. The operator drives it the last little bit then sends it to the offloading spot automatically. That way the driver can remotely pilot the next unit. This is really only the next step.

I like this because it stresses content not look.

so long as you keep it to two pages, avoid cramming in text and give me some white space your resume will look fine.

Just a follow up, I went shopping today and rib-eye was $6.74/lb. So an eight ounce steak would be $3.37 apiece.

you should be able to see my reply but if you can’t it’s Wholesale Club. Part of Loblaws.

Vote: Kate Aitken’s Canadian Cookbook

Wholesale Club. It’s part of the Loblaws group. They’ll sell to the public but they core is small variety store/ restaurants etc.

Outside of Toronto, Ontario.

there’s a restaurant supply store nearby that I often shop at that sells whole cuts of meat - e.g. an entire fillet or a 12 pound sirloin tip. If you slice the meat yourself you can get 20 inch thick steaks for around $55 which is a great deal.

I’ve been on dozens and dozens of interviews with places ranging from very large (most of the time) to a small 40 person shop.

More expensive only means lighter, cooler, maybe better features (mine has a rear light!). It may mean better fit (which is VERY important) or easier adjustment. Of course poor fit reduces safety.

If you’re in the US - CPA. I’m in Canada so it’s CPA too - but different CPA. In the Canadian job market you won’t advance past Senior Financial Analyst without a designation in industry (not public accounting). Of course in public accounting (Auditing, Tax - places like KPMG and E&Y) you have to get the designation

I somehow doubt you’d be very polite about it.

Sure here goes...

this is one of pet peeves that I’ll politely call out to parents. When they’re so far back like the photo I worry that not only is there no head protection - it’s a strangling hazard.

Not all accountants do tax or are auditors. I do my taxes like most people - I use QuickTax.

a portable grinder will go through any u-lock. I’m of the opinion that all you can really do is make the bike beside yours easier / more tempting than your own.

When I have to make a presentation I use the outline view directly in PowerPoint. It’s saves a step and if you stay within the Outline mode you don’t end up messing around with the ‘look’ and aesthetics of the slides themselves.

I’d also say that you need to be able to handle the loneliness of not being in a social environment. If you have a dedicated office where your spouse/kids/roomie won’t disturb you or if they’re out all day it can get lonely.

When you do ( and you must do) a best interview stories I have a story of one of the best - even though the job didnt pan out.
