Sounds like you need to stop drinking the koolade that you're hating on

Well, if the protesters are going to use the same tactics, then I don't see why they're upset. Maybe all of their info should be posted in the same way since those cowards don't want to face repercussions of their stupidity.

You can still have fun in a shit car.

on it's own, no, but as part of sewing a a whole, yes. using just a button was a bad example for it though

Not everyone wears tshirts and sweat pants all the time, some people actually wear clothing with -gasp- buttons!:-P

The only thing that took some getting used to for me was how thin it is. My work phone and old GNex are thicker and the Nexus 5 felt like it was a post-it note by comparison.

Well, now I know what I want to do for a project car

go back to car school sonny boy

as long as the photos aren't of you, then maybe..

Or, if it's such a hassle, then don't upgrade until you need to rather than want to. Simplifies the process quite a bit.

no issues with my 32GB black Nexus 5, but then work phone was a Motorola Droid 3 and my personal phone was a Galaxy Nexus. So far extremely impressed with the LG Nexus 5.

True. It's just annoying to me that after this long in development along with recycled excuses as to why it's not ready is making me wonder if the backers got fleeced by VLC for a project that will never be released. Or atleast that's how it appears to me right now.

More than a year later, still waiting on the Windows 8/RT version of VLC to be released. They are being rather secretive, as the last updates I saw ( a month back) were "for backers only". VLC, I love your program, but you're starting to seem a bit shady to me considering you exceeded your kickstarter goal in terms

Seems like a BS reason to me. I feel the real reason is simple: it won't sell. With the American market more onboard with large cars of varying fuel economy, a Smart car is just "too small" for the majority of Americans and thus it won't sell well enough to waste money bringing it in .

I normally float around XDA's site for things like this, as they are an awesome resource. Glad to see they weren't left out of the article. I realize LifeHacker is about many things, but I like seeing techie articles like these, as I enjoy the insight from those working at LH.

Not to be the party pooper, but I'll believe that Car Companies are listening to us when these turn up as real cars on dealer lots. Until then, but I won't hold my breath.

That looks like a computer I worked on last weekend, except the one I was fixing had about 3x the dust in it.

Alot of sexy cars from back then. Most of them look better than what's on the road today, though I'm partial to the curves rather than sharp angles. That being said, I'm not kicking my new C7 out of bed.
