my bad. I wasn't paying close enough attention to the background as it looked like the Serenity for a split second.

I realize it's a gif/meme, but liking that firefly clip. (fan of the series)
let me know how it goes when some asshat infront of you does something you don't like, and how you respond to it. I'm not taking sides, merely going by your reasoning that if others on the plane do shit you don't like, then you have no room to complain seeing as they paid for their spots as well
I think it's commendable and I think it's interesting but as a purist it leaves me cold. I mean for me I want to see cars with combustion engines running flat out. You want to hear it. Part of the 'wow factor' for anyone who hasn't been to a grand prix before it's: Oh my, the noise is incredible.
The photos are from a wheel that I find is cleaner than just bolting on some aero caps, however in this form I don't know how great it would be. As far as the wings go, you're right, I was mostly referring to a tech that was banned from the track in it's day because of the edge it gave to those cars before it was…
re-read your reply. you are insisting that the new look sucks simply because it does not work for you, and just because "I" like it, I am the wanker. Also note that I never said that you had to like the new look, only that it worked for me which is why i liked it. I'm sorry you don't like the way it is going now, but…
jealous? hardly. I make $100k a year at my cushy job buddy. I am just not enthralled much about how by the balls, the UAW has the auto industry.
so because it differs from your it's automatically nonfactual. gotcha.. whatever dude. I was merely expressing originally that I didn't think it was a good idea and then seemed like you took it as a personal insult and began trying to prove your point to favor the UAW, and the way you express it appears like you have…
Why such hostility? are you a UAW person trying to gain momentum in favor of VW using them? Stop taking it so personal.
But I still fail to see how to justify getting paid $45+ an hour for a job that is more than 60% done by robots, and having the ability to shut down an entire plant (which in turn can impact others) on any whim they desire whether it be legitimize or asinine. And yes unions have done their share of good things too,…
You hit the nail on the head
My main issue is that Unions have the auto industry by the balls. If they strike, then alot of other manufacturing is affected. Granted i realize the origin was to protect workers, but these days I really don't see the need for it as much but that's just me and i am open to change.
I believe they figured that you'd save almost a second of lap time with a CVT. Why? First, those .050s shifts add up. Second you are ALWAYS in the correct gear to give the most available power at all times. Even with 7 or 8 speeds, you still wind up not being at 100% power at all times, something a CVT will do.
I'd like alot more information, as you didn't really counter my claim for pricing. Cost of materials play a big part, but the cost of 50+ UAW at $45+ per hour isn't helping that.
The UAW will only hurt VW. Hell most of the problems with U.S. automotive manufacturing is due to the UAW. Yes, they started out with good intentions to begin with, but now are just money grabbing corrupt organizations that feel entitled to earning the same as or more than a person with a Masters Degree or higher…
No, sir, you are the wanker.
hopefully you're at a better spot now :-)
