Why shouldn't an executive use social media to respond to critics? It's as good a medium as anything these days.

It seems some don't possess reading comprehension past that of pre-school. Otherwise they'd have read the real article and see that these are fresh pumpkins that you have to carve yourself specifically for these tasks rather than recycling an old one from the start.

Agreed. TouchWiz, Sense, Blur, etc are basically different distributions of Android, just like Ubuntu, Debian, Arch, etc are all different distributions of Linux. All are OSes built on a kernel.

While I can understand your point, I feel that their approach isn't going to solve or truly address the problem and may make it worse, as some reckless drivers with their road rage will just get more worked up due to the slower speeds.
