So you’re saying pain isn’t just weakness leaving the body?

HSA’s are a great retirement vehicle. Upfront tax deduction and ability to withdraw at any time for medical expenses incurred since establishment.
I expect that all but the most isolated rural schools will be shut down within 60 days. My wife already has Fridays off. Maybe I can get my work shifted to take Tuesdays or Wednesdays off and provide some adult supervised at home teaching 3-4 days a week.
As you plan you exit strategy, start a note file to document anything personal on you system. I left a company last year, and had about a 20-item list to clean out including removing personal chrome profiles and uninstalling personal software utilities (they didn’t have great IT security policies). Best thing on my…
Do you understand what “boosting ones immune system” means? It means you have an autoimmune disorder like rheumatoid arthritis, MS, IBD, lupus, etc. A “stronger” immune system would see your body literally trying to kill itself.
Yes, my story is highly anecdotal, but it indicates extra cleaning is not thorough and likely just for show.
The “extra” cleaning isn’t happening. My son flew Delta last week with a layover in Atlanta. The 2nd flight’s departure was delayed 30 minutes after a boarding passenger found a bag of vomit in the seatback compartment.
I use Verizon. I’ve spent hours with them troubleshooting data issues. I have 3/4 bars on my phone at work. (inside and out). Calls are crystal clear, but data is zero. I can’t even do a speed test.
Do you take American Express?
My wife’s mental health is deteriorating under the stress of lock down, big projects at work and worrying that our kids (preschool through teens) are safe at home while we both still work. In the past, she struggled to maintain appropriate and level-headed responses to elevated emotional challenges (threatening…
So here’s a question. I can pay all my bills, but would taking advantage of mortgage forbearance be a smart move to increase available cash (or alternatively pay down other higher interest loans)?
Blood Oxygen saturation meter (spo2 pulse oximeter) would be really good to have on hand according to multiple sources. That can tell you if you’re having difficulty getting enough air into your lungs that would indicate a need to get professional medical care.
The global confirmed to death ratio is hovering at about 4.7%. That doesn’t account for likely infections that can’t get tested or the questionable pneumonia deaths in nations trying to save face.
Will my 19 year old son that still lives with us and was claimed as an additional dependent on my taxes last year get anything? He was a high school student for the first half of 2019, but filed his own return for the full-time job he worked after graduating?
How about an expansion to this about when to seek medical assistance. If you just have a cough and fever, nothing at the hospital is going to help because it is a viral infection. However, if you experience difficulty breathing get additional help as soon as possible. I picked up a cheap blood oxygen meter for about…
If you feel confident in your employment security, a 401k loan could really benefit you in a bear market. Effectively, your investment shifts to a guaranteed income fund likely granting around a 4% return. If the overall market dives 10%, you can come out way ahead in that scenario.
I’m a lazy dad. My teens get a card when they get a drivers licence along with a lecture that it is for gas for their shared vehicle and authorized purchases like milk runs. They understand that if the card is lost or missing, they tell me immediately. It also helps that I’m kinda a tightwad about finances and check…
Fairly sure I expressed a similar sentiment on free days last year. Especially the ones on national holidays, free days just exasperate overcrowding issues in the national parks in my area (Zion, Bryce, Grand Canyon, etc.). These places aren’t built to handle mass crowds, so free days are a disservice to these parks.
