If I bought this monstrosity, my toddler would put so much TP in the bowl, I’d have to replace plumbing to get things back in working order.
You should really read Scott Adam’s book Win Bigly.
Never underestimate the human factor. My employer issued hardware security keys to all employees, but instructed them to never remove them from their PC because replacement costs are high.
Wow, that EFT specifically states in the fund description “It is non-diversified.”
How’s warlock fear in the classic beta? Asking for a friend who misses the sweet tears of the dead from OP crowd control.
Or you could just be proactive and save those returns on Google Drive in a folder legitimately named “Taxes.”
I was a copy editor in the newsroom of a daily newspaper around the turn of the century. The images coming across the AP wire of middle east violence still affect me to this day. I can’t watch horror movies like Saw, Purge, or Hostel franchises. I’ve already seen the real horrors people will do to other humans.
I’m floored that the Hackintosh I built in 2012 still works spectacularly well and runs the latest OS. I followed TonyMac’s guide for parts and install to build a Core i3 shoebox configuration for just over $500. I think the only thing I’ve upgraded is swapping the HDD for an SSD. My kids use it daily for homework,…

I will be at DL for four days starting tomorrow with two toddlers and 4 teenagers. I much prefer the toddlers! ;)
I follow the guideline of tips for people who bring food to you. In other words, no tip if you shout my name at a counter, and I come to you unless there are some unusual circumstances where counter service person goes above and beyond.
I’m seeing the same trend in my job search. I was passed over for promotion. I elected to get my B.S. degree in another discipline because I wouldn’t learn anything after 20 years in my current field. I graduated with a 4.0, but every job I’ve applied for wants to see at least 2 years in directly related entry level…
Until you wake up with your kid holding a large mallet over your head ...
I’m pretty sure what this survey calls a sitter is really a private nanny with services catering to one percenters. At 30k/year, I’d expect a college student working towards an early childhood education degree who is practically raising my kid for me.
Take a grueling vacation. Two years ago, I volunteered to participate in a week-long 50 mile backpack trip with my son. By Saturday morning, my fitbit had recorded 90 miles due to a few route modifications.
