I prefer to work my taxes backwards, figuring approximate credits and payments, then looking at ways to decrease my AGI or increase deductions to maximize my refund. 

Sat out in the backyard last night with my wife and one of my kids. Saw the longest and brightest meteor I’ve seen my entire life last night. It was huge and ran over half the length of the visible sky. The burn trail was about 1/8th of the sky from start to finish. It was amazing.
