Called my local store; Jim in electronics said they had several, so I skipped out of work. Asked for 2 when I got there, and Jim has to go check if they are limiting purchases. My personal best was either the 100 gallon fish tank with about 2 inches of water remaining and the fish still in there or the full china cabinet because they were divorcing and he had to be out of the unit that day, but she hadn’t taken her antique china yet.

New maintenance costs like lawnmower and yard tools. Also don’t forget pizza and drinks for the friends that help you move.

The contract law that applies in your scenario is fairly cut and dry. The dealer made an offer, and the buyer accepted. However, when the dealer tries to back out or change the terms, it’s likely not worth your time to take them to court.

Took a long time to install, but seems to work very well on my 6s and 2017 iPad.

Not if Uncle Sam is paying the interest on a subsidized loan. It also doesn’t make sense to pay off student loans that may have tax advantages when you could be contributing to an investment portfolio with an expected return that easily exceeds relatively low student loan interest rates.

Thanks again for the timely post. We check in to our cabin just west of Yellowstone Sunday afternoon!

Or just take your excess student loan refunds and periodically pay off all accrued interest while you’re still in school.

Just want to say thanks for the timely article. My family of 8 will be in Yellowstone for four nights this Sunday. ;)

I’m pretty sure everyone was tweeting about the fail whale at the time. That’s what Twitter did 10 years ago

Dollar amounts vary widely across the country. I gave the son of the coworker who is essentially my “work wife” $100 for his wedding. He asked his mom if we were having an affair because the amount was relatively high. (For the record and because someone on Kinja will ask, we are not.)

Just remember non-food grade items should not contact food. They may contain trace chemical residues that are highly toxic if eaten.

There’s a penalty if you withdraw before 5 years have elapsed.

If you’re not at the contribution limit, max out the Roth contributions even if the account has a healthy balance. After 5 years you’re going to have 25k+ in basis plus roughly 15k in growth depending on the market. You can’t touch the portion that represents growth, but you can withdraw the basis amount without

If there isn’t any match, it’s unlikely that a 401k is your best option. Personally, I recommend younger workers max out contributions to a Roth IRA. While they are post-tax dollars, the principle investment can be withdrawn without penalty after the account has been open for 5 years. In retirement, where you’re

You forgot to adjust for inflation. $1.56 in March 2003 is equal to $2.11 last March (latest figures available). When adjusted for inflation, fuel prices are actually lower now than in 2003.
