Not if Uncle Sam is paying the interest on a subsidized loan. It also doesn’t make sense to pay off student loans that may have tax advantages when you could be contributing to an investment portfolio with an expected return that easily exceeds relatively low student loan interest rates.

Thanks again for the timely post. We check in to our cabin just west of Yellowstone Sunday afternoon!

Or just take your excess student loan refunds and periodically pay off all accrued interest while you’re still in school.

Just want to say thanks for the timely article. My family of 8 will be in Yellowstone for four nights this Sunday. ;)

To answer the headline’s question, NO. Unless you cannot control your spending, credit cards offer superior financial and purchase protections that are unavailable to debit card users.

I’ve had the Taotronics headphones since Tuesday. They are incredible. Connect to both my phone and my work PC at the same time. I even found out they work wired usb today. One of the Amazon reviewers suggested they might be white label of a high end manufacture, and I agree.
